The third annual National Quiet Day will take place on Wednesday 12th September 2018.
National Quiet Day takes place on the second Wednesday of September each year and encourages people to seek sanctuary in silence. National Quiet Day raises awareness of the issue that noise has a substantial effect on our wellbeing and mental health.
Whirlpool, a leading home appliance manufacturer, is dedicated to improving people’s everyday lives. Whirlpool holds the Quiet Mark accreditation for three of its Supreme Care washing machines, which is awarded to manufacturers who incorporate ‘quiet’ into their designs, and is why National Quiet Day was first established in 2016.
Digital National Quiet Day activity will commence on Monday 10th September 2018, to promote the awareness day and encourage an increased consciousness of the world around us.
The results of a national survey that is being commissioned by Whirlpool will be announced on the morning of National Quiet Day.
