CLASSIC BLUE SIGNIFIES A SERENE, CONFIDENT START TO THE NEW DECADE
Described by Pantone as “a deep shade that’s at once calming and relatable”, their Colour of the Year for 2020 – Classic Blue – is a great choice to add a splash of tranquillity to any bedroom as we enter a new decade.
“We’re very excited about this classic blue hue. With the colour complementing so many of our styles perfectly, Classic Blue is genderless and transcends the seasons, providing the perfect accent colour in your bedroom.”
The newly launched Elise fitted bedroom range from My Fitted Bedroom features a four-panel shaker door design, which can be tailored to your requirements and complemented with drawers as well.
The new range is available in 29 colours including Classic Indigo Blue from £3,540.
TRANQUIL DAWN OFFERS A CALM COUNTERPOINT TO CHAOS
Paint giant Dulux announced its Colour of The Year for 2020 as Tranquil Dawn- a hazy greeny-grey shade inspired by the morning sky that signifies fresh beginnings for interior design, encourages human connection and is a nod to the new decade we have just entered.
“We really love the brand’s colour choice – but what’s even better is that we already have a range in this colour. You can get a fitted bedroom in our matt Shaker Verde fitted bedroom that is virtually identical to the Dulux Colour of the Year Tranquil Dawn.”
Everybody loves a neutral and Tranquil Dawn is as pretty much close to neutral as a green tone can get – perfect for putting a new twist on greys and beiges.
The Shaker Verde fitted bedroom range includes a selection of door options that can be designed around customers exact needs, from fitted wardrobes through to drawers and cabinets – all featuring the shaker framed style and a delicate wood grain finish – starting from £3,500.
PLUNGE INTO THE OCEANIC SPECTRUM
2020 is all about injecting the oceanic range of shades into homes – rich, dramatic and soothing tones from our precious seas and oceans – and finding calm in these times of rapid change. Mix blues and greens that reflect the depths of the ocean for a home full of intensity and interest.
Just like the ocean, which isn’t a true blue but encompasses a whole breadth of colour, combine navy, teal and dark aquamarine with natural materials such as wood effect furniture for an instant statement; and be inspired by the blue greens of the deep sea.
Textures are also key within this look – plush velvets and natural woods accents take centre stage.
The Adela Black Oak fitted bedroom range pairs perfectly with a range of blues and and starts from £2,495 from My Fitted Bedroom.
