Dedicated KBB PR agency, jmm PR has won the Best PR Campaign Award in the EK&BBusiness Awards, for its National Quiet Day campaign on behalf of Whirlpool.
The EK&BBusiness Awards is an annual event, organised by Essential Kitchen & Bathroom Business magazine. The awards recognise the best products, retailers and services within the KBB industry.
The award-winning National Quiet Day campaign was conceived and created to highlight the effect noise has on a person’s well-being and mental health, encouraging us all to seek out moments of quiet in life; to increase brand awareness of Whirlpool and its super quiet Supreme Care washing machine range.
jmm PR’s campaign proved very successful, with an independent national survey on the topic of noise in the home, and the quiet life, which was reported by national and regional news titles. The campaign hashtag (#NationalQuietDay) organically became a trending topic on Twitter. Furthermore, interviews with media psychologist, Dr Becky Spelman on the effect noise has on a person’s well-being, aired on national and regional radio stations.
